From The Motorway
From M60 Clockwise
Leave M60 at Junction 25 at the roundabout take the 2nd left sign posted 'Bredbury'. After 1km turn right at the traffic lights. Follow this road down hill (you will see the Pear Mill on your left) for 2km and turn left into Pear Mill.
From M60 Anti Clockwise
Leave the M60 at Junction 27 (large 24hrs Tesco on left). Stay in the central lane signposted to Lower Bredbury B6104. Take the 3rd left off the roundabout onto 'Carrington Road'. After 1km turn left at the traffic lights onto New Bridge Lane. Follow this road for a further 600m then turn right into Pear Mill.
From the A6 heading North
Leave Buxton Road at the set of traffic lights heading onto Higher Hillgate after 500m turn right at the next lights onto Hempshaw Lane this road becomes St Marys Way. At the third set of lights turn right onto New Bridge Lane. Follow this road and turn right 600m after the set of traffic lights into Pear Mill.
Parking
It is possible to park outside of the front door but obviously at busy times the other parking facilities must be used. Please use the main car park that is situated on the right of the security lodge as you enter the gates of the mill.
Entrance
The entrance to The Engine House is located just to the right of the massive chimney.
