The Crypt
The Crypt is a massive new bouldering facility at Awesome Walls Climbing Centre. There is 250 square metres of climbing surface available.
The dedicated traversing wall offers problems of up to 36m in length varying from slabs to gentle overhangs to short roof sections. By continuing around the whole room a mega 65m traverse is possible.
The 175 square metres of bouldering wall offers climbing on angles from vertical to wildly overhanging roof sections.
Featured Bouldering Wall
The featured bouldering wall is 12 metres by 4.5 metres of resin fun! Varying between vertical to mildly overhanging, there are many possible problems to try. If you suffer from a lack of imagination or feel the need for a challenge our staff will happily guide you.
The Stepped Wall
The wooden bouldering wall overhangs by 20 degrees with a small roof at about half height, above this is a shallower headwall. There are coloured problems, from easy jug fests to sloppy nightmares and everything in between. Fun for all the family.
The Bouldering Cave
The bouldering cave has walls of many angles from slab to roof; everything for your training needs. The main section is a 45 degree overhang, ideal for getting you cranking hard. There is a range of existing problems to try, or why not set your own for others to enjoy? Just ask a member of AWCC staff when you next visit.
