Awesome Walls Climbing Center is just off Great Howard Street, the A565, about 1 mile from Liverpool City centre. There is ample free parking available at the centre.

Drive north along Great Howard Street, the A565, passing Williams BMW garage on the right and then Stanley Dock Heritage Market on the left. Awesome Walls is in the large sandstone church on the right-hand side, next door to the W H Lung Chinese supermarket and the Tai Pan Chinese Restaurant.
Directions from the North M6
Exit at junction 26 and join the M58, proceed to the end and then go straight on to the A5036, Dunnings Bridge Road, heading towards the docks. Carry straight on to a big roundabout. Here take the fourth exit (straight on) at the next roundabout (with a large flyover) take the first exit (left) onto Crosby Road (A565). Follow this road for about 3 miles and you will see the large sandstone church, in which Awesome Walls is based, on the left-hand side, next door to the W H Lung Chinese supermarket and the Tai Pan Chinese Restaurant.
Directions from the South M6
Exit at junction 21A and join the M62 westbound. Exit at junction 6 and join the M57. Follow the motorway to its end at a large roundabout. Take the 2nd left onto the A5036, Dunnings Bridge Road, heading towards the docks. Carry straight on to a big roundabout. Here take the fourth exit (straight on). At the next roundabout (with a large flyover) take the first exit (left) onto Crosby Road (A565). Directions from the Wirral
Take either the Birkenhead or Wallasey tunnels. Turn left out of the tunnels on to Scotland Road. If you have come through the Birkenhead Tunnel follow this road for about ½ mile, passed John Moores University on the right, to the Wallasey Tunnel. About ¼ mile from the Wallasey tunnel the road forks. Take the left-hand fork into Stanley Road, signed for Bootle and the docks. At the first set of lights turn left into Boundary Street. Straight on at the next set of lights, go under a railway bridge and you will be able to see the large sandstone church, in which Awesome Walls is based, to the left once under the bridge.
Arriving by train
Take the Northern Line and get off at Sandhills station. Leave the station and turn left, under the railway, at the traffic lights turn left onto Great Howard Street. Follow this road for about 10 minutes and you will see the large sandstone church, in which Awesome Walls is based, straight ahead.
Arriving by bus
The number 48 bus runs regularly from the central bus station (Queens Square). There are stops along Great Howard Street close to Awesome Walls.
